In 2018, Goodwills across the United States received 107 million donations and collected 5.2 billion pounds of used goods, keeping waste out of landfills. Without the support of donors, Goodwill retail stores would not be successful, thus not being able to donate to local communities.
"It's a chance for us to be good stewards for the donations that we receive, and also help the 400 people we employee here in Northern Wisconsin and Upper Michigan,” said Bryant Taylor, Goodwill Northern Wisconsin and Upper Michigan Vice President or Operations.
Sunday is Marquette’s Goodwill back to school sale where all donated items will be 50% off. They’ll be open from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and are located at 3125 US-41.
