MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - Students and alumni of Northern Michigan University had a chance to talk to possible employers this afternoon.
NMU Career Services hosted the Summer Employment Fair at the Northern Center.
Students were encouraged to talk with employers from a variety of fields, including construction companies, summer camps and accounting firms.
“We know that students are successful when they get those really cool experiential learning opportunities, that they get to do meaningful work throughout the summer where they can connect and build those long term networks, and we hope to offer great experiences to the students and employers,” said Katie Korpi, Assistant Director of Career Services at NMU.
83 employers participated in the event.
