They’ll also be renovating the boys and girls locker rooms at Westwood High School, and constructing two new locker rooms for visiting teams.
“With the number of participants we have in our athletic programs, and the number of contests we host here at Westwood High School, locker room space is at a premium. So, that led to the addition of the two new visiting locker rooms and a reconfiguration and total rebuild of our home locker rooms for our boy and girl athletes and physical education students," said Bryan DeAugustine, Superintendent of Nice Community Schools.
All interior renovations will take place during the summer break, and will be completed prior to the next school year. The track is set to be resurfaced this spring, ready for use before track season.
