MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - Marquette's Bothwell Middle School held their annual Museum Night Wednesday. The event is a chance for the students to show off their hard work so far this year.
Seventh graders have been studying ancient cultures including Egypt, China, Mesopotamia and more. Parents and relatives stopped by to view the students displays and research. Teachers at Bothwell say there's a lot of talented work the students do each year.
"They're given a lot of leeway in what they can choose so it gives them an opportunity to do some of their own research and dive really deep into some of these topics and they get really into it," said Joe Levandoski, Teacher at Bothwell. "Tonight is a huge culmination of all the hard work they've put in, some of these kids have put in a lot of hours and it really shows, and it's a good opportunity for the parents and community to come out and see what kind of talented students we have here in Marquette."
This was the 11th year for the Museum Night at Bothwell Middle School.
