Mission of Hope in Escanaba is calling for the community's help Saturday in making sure kids are warm this winter.

They're asking for people to donate any new or gently used gear for kids to wear when outdoors.

This way, children will be able to get involved in winter activities without being cold.

"We have several drop off locations where you can drop off hats, coats, and boots ... gently used or brand new preferably to a lot of locations. In Gladstone, you can stop at the Thriving Office, the Covenant Church or you can also stop at New Horizons Free Methodist,” said Wellspring Community Church Pastor, Paul Culbertson.

In Escanaba, people can drop their donations off at Wellspring Community Church, Immanuel Lutheran, the Salvation Army and Harbor lights Church of God, now until December 1st.
