Minnesota man accused of bringing drugs into Gogebic County enters plea

GOGEBIC COUNTY, Mich. (WLUC) - A Minnesota man entered guilty pleas as part of a plea agreement Tuesday for drug possession charges.

Brandon Bible, 35, pleaded guilty to controlled substance-delivery and manufacture of cocaine less than 50 grams, assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer. All other charges were dismissed including prisoner possessing contraband and tampering with evidence.

On September 10, the Gogebic Iron Area Narcotics Team arrested Bible in Ironwood. Bible is originally from the Minneapolis, Minnesota area and it was believed he was bringing heroin to the Bessemer and Wakefield area.

Officers seized about 70 grams of heroin, which has a street value of about $30,000.
