DICKINSON COUNTY, Mich. (WLUC) The Milwaukee man arrested on drug charges in Iron Mountain back in April avoided a jury trial by entering a plea agreement.

Kenneth Greer was arrested with two other men and one, Davin Vincent Veir-Washington attempted to take sole blame at Greer’s preliminary hearing.

Ultimately Dickinson County Judge Mary Barglind found Washington’s testimony to be incredible.

Greer was set for a jury trial on Thursday but took a plea Wednesday afternoon.

Greer pleaded guilty to count 2 of controlled substance less than 50 grams and his habitual offender charge was knocked down to 2nd degree.

Greer will be sentenced on November 20th.
