Michigan cases increase by over 1k in 24 hours

(WLUC) - COVID-19 coronovirus cases continue to climb in Michigan.

As of Saturday, April 4, confirmed cases in Michigan were up to 14,225, an increase of 1,481 over Friday's cases. A total of 540 people have died,, with 61 new deaths reported Saturday.

In the U.P so far, there are 28 reported cases as of April 4 at 3:00 p.m.
This includes three new cases reported Saturday morning at Norlite Nursing Center, including one death. Another Marquette County case was also reported Saturday, so the county now has 11 cases confirmed. A second case was also reported in Houghton County on Saturday.
