MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - Michigan Works! is hosting a number of classes that aim to help people find success in their careers.
It's called the Success Skills Training series, and it's available at all four Michigan Works! hubs in the U.P.-- Marquette, Houghton, Escanaba, and Sault Ste Marie.
Darren Widder, a MiWorks! workforce services manager in Escanaba, says it's a great program for people no matter what stage of your career you're in. Whether you're looking for a new start or looking to improve your skills, there's something for everyone.
The series begins with a computer introduction class. Other classes include resume writing, interviewing, using social media, competitive edge soft skills, networking, and more.
Widder says each class size is limited, and you do not need to attend every single class in the series. You are able to choose whichever classes would be best for you.
To register for the classes, call your nearest Michigan Works! hub, or click here.
