Michigan Tech held their annual Bob Mark Business Model Competition Wednesday night.

The competition gives Michigan Tech students a chance to pitch their ideas to a group of judges who decide on the best pitch and give feedback after each presentation.

Thirteen different pitches were presented, with each student or team getting four minutes to give the best overview of their business plan. The most important aspect is giving the students the experience and feedback they need for future pitches.

"This is just a great opportunity for them, it's a great opportunity for them to get some feedback and learn more about what they need to address if they want to take this to the next level. It's great for them to share and have some fun too," said Lisa Casper, Project Manager for Husky Innovate.

The first prize for the winning student was $2,000 towards their business model.
