MENOMIONEE, Mich. (WLUC) - Jesse James Dick, 31, of Menominee, was sentenced to two to six years in prison for possession of cocaine and heroin. Dick pled guilty on January 6, 2020 to separate counts of possession of heroin and cocaine, as a habitual offender.

Dick has 21 prior convictions from 1999 through 2019.

"He showed a complete lack of remorse for his continued criminal behavior, as demonstrated by his consistently deplorable behavior in the the Menominee County Jail since his guilty plea, including his manufacture of a 'shank', which endangered the inmate population and the corrections officers responsible for maintaining order in the facility," says Menominee County Prosecutor Jeffrey Rogg.
