Marquette's Federation of Women's Clubs will host its annual Yesterday's Treasures and Bake Sale this Saturday, Dec. 7 to raise money to support repairs and operations at the clubhouse.

Sue Madden, the co-chair of the sale, says the clubhouse was bought in 1926, during the time of women's suffrage. She says women in that time didn't have many places where they could gather, and the clubhouse has been a meeting place for clubs ever since.

The clubhouse on Ridge St. in Marquette is also open to the community for events, such a bridal showers.

The Yesterday's Treasures and Bake Sale fundraiser will be at the federation clubhouse, located at 104 W. Ridge St. in Marquette, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Donations are still being accepted. Call Sue Madden for information at 906-361-4243.
