Marquette city-wide Easter egg hunt kicks off Monday

MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - The 4th annual Marquette City-Wide Easter Egg Hunt kicks off Monday, April 15 and runs through Saturday, April 20.

Andrew Rickauer, the organizer of the egg hunt along with Superiorland Kiwanis, says he will be hiding 12 eggs around the city of Marquette. They'll be tough to find, and they'll be outside. The eggs will have some big prizes inside, including hotel stays, restaurant gift certificates, and more.

Rickauer will be posting clues to help you find the eggs on the Superiorland Kiwanis Facebook page all next week.

Then on Saturday, April 20 is the children's Easter egg hunt. Beginning at 11 a.m. at the Presque Isle Band shell, over 1,000 eggs will be scattered around for the kids to search for. It's free and open for all to attend.
