Tuesday night Marquette Mountain hosting a community forum. They were looking for input from the public on the upcoming ski season.

The mountain, now under the management of Andrew Farron has been accepting suggestions recently and received more than two dozen. Tuesday night was Farron's chance to address those questions, suggestions or concerns. Much of the focus was on a few key aspects of running the mountain including the snowmaking systems, chairlifts and scheduled events.

"I think everybody wants to be heard and I think everybody wants the feeling of being hopeful again and that's what I want to give back to the patrons, gain their confidence and also get the hope and excitement and passion back on the ski hill that we had had at one point that we thrive on," said Marquette Mountain General Manager, Andrew Farron.

The forum went from 5:30-7 p.m. Tuesday. Farron also said millions of dollars have been invested this past summer for a number of improvements including lighting and snow making water lines.
