MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - Marquette Mountain plans to open lifts for the season on Friday, Nov. 22 from 2:00-8:00 p.m.
The ski hill made the announcement on Facebook Wednesday and says this will be its earliest open date in more than a decade.
Lift tickets on Nov. 22 will be $20. Marquette Mountain says it will be spinning Rocket chair to midway and riding Snowfield and Tyro. There will also be a few small terrain park features set and ready to go.

After a management change in the middle of last winter, new general manager Andrew Farron says millions of dollars have been invested this past summer for a number of improvements, including lighting and snow making water lines.
