MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - A pro-life gathering took place Friday morning in downtown Marquette.
People braved the cold outside of the old city hall building to support the March for Life in Washington, D.C. which was also held Friday.
The mission of this organization is to end abortion by uniting, educating and mobilizing pro-life people in the public sphere.
Nearly 100 marches are scheduled to take place in 2019 to support the largest pro-life event in the world.
Organizer of Marquette’s demonstration, Stuart Bruce, shared, "For somebody who is in a crisis pregnancy, there's a place in Marquette called the Care Clinic where they can get emotional, spiritual help.”
Today was the 46th annual March for Life in Washington, D.C.
