MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - The Marquette Downtown Development Authority (DDA), along with Arnett, Muldrow and Associates presented a draft brand presentation for downtown Marquette Thursday afternoon at the Marquette Commons.
Their focus Friday was to share with the community their ideas for a downtown logo, as well as event logos and brand expansion.
Branding officials believe this will help tell people about downtown Marquette, and invite locals back to discover it.
"It’s important to be able to make sure that the market is growing alongside the investments so having a good comprehensive branding system allows a community to harness the economic impact of the investment that's going on and attract customers, and really reconnect with the region that is its local and loyal supporters,” said Arnett, Muldrow and Associates Partner, Ben Muldrow.
Branding officials say as soon as the Downtown Development Authority Board approves the branding system, they plan to prepare a branding package to make available to the business community in Marquette.
