Marquette City-Wide Easter Egg Hunt begins

MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - On Monday, the 4th Annual Marquette City-Wide Easter Egg Hunt began.

Twelve eggs have been hidden around the city of Marquette. Organizer Andrew Rickauer says they'll be tough to find. Nine of the eggs will be outside and three will be inside.

The clues to the eggs can be found on the Superiorland Kiwanis Facebook page all this week.

You will want these eggs because they have more than candy inside. Some of the eggs have big prizes inside including hotel stays, restaurant gift certificates, and more.

"It's great to have a family event that gets everyone together out having fun," said Rickauer. "It's free and for me it's a lot of fun to see people out doing it."

The hunt goes until this Saturday, April 20.

Organizers ask the public to leave the area as you found it regardless of where the eggs are.
