MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - The first female warden in the history of Marquette Branch Prison will address the Economic Club of Marquette County next Monday.

Erica Huss is originally from Ironwood. She is a graduate of Northern Michigan University. Huss began her career with the Michigan Department of Corrections in February 1994 as a Corrections Officer at Corrections Camp Cusino, which was in Shingleton.
On Monday night, Huss plans to explain how the economy and business people of Marquette were key in bringing the prison to the community and keeping it for 131 years.
