FORSYTH TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WLUC) - Police are continuing an investigation after a man was arrested in KI Sawyer on meth charges.
On February 7, Forsyth Township police responded to the Dart Street area for a suspicious vehicle.
Officers found that the driver of the vehicle had an outstanding warrant and his license was suspended. Crystal meth and a large amount of money was also found inside the vehicle.
He was arrested and lodged at the Marquette County Jail. He has been charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine, Habitual Offender 2nd offense, Possession of Schedule 5 Controlled Substance, and Operating License Suspended, Revoked, Denied.
The name of the suspect is not being released at this time due to the ongoing investigation.
Forsyth Township Police were assisted at the scene by the Marquette County Sheriff’s Office.
