MDOT releases short update on US-41/M-28 roundabout project
The Michigan Department of Transportation has released a short update on the US-41/M-28 Marquette Township roundabout and reconstruction project.
According to Ishpeming Transportation Service Center construction engineer, Al Anderson, the project continues to proceed on schedule for completing highway and roundabout pavement by late October, at which point construction will be suspended for the year.
During this construction stage, contractors are working on the south sides of both the County Road 492 and Brickyard Road roundabouts and the south half of the new multi-use tunnel.
The current traffic configuration, with minor adjustments, is expected to stay in place until the end of the month.
