M-28 has reopened between Chocolay Township and Munising. It closed Thursday night due to blowing snow.

M-28 remains closed Friday morning between Chocolay Township and Munising due to blowing snow off Lake Superior.
The Michigan State Police closed the stretch of highway at 8:30 p.m. Thursday.
Barricades are in place at the intersection of M-28 and Kawbawgam Road in Marquette County and M-28 and M-94 just east of Munising.
Use M-94 and US-41 as a detour. It's unclear when M-28 will reopen as blizzard-like conditions persist Friday.
