Low-cost spay, neuter services available to pet owners in Escanaba

ESCANABA, Mich. (WLUC) - On Tuesday, 'All about Animals' returned to Escanaba for their annual trip in their mobile vet station.

During their time here, the group of animal experts provide six-days' worth of surgery to spay or neuter cats and dogs.

They also have a walk-in clinic available for owners to get their pets vaccinated.

The team plans to do four days of treatment here in Escanaba and then two in Hannahville.

"We come up to Escanaba because there is a need for spay and neutering up here. We do have low-costs, and that's one of the things,” said Debra Burns, the Clinic Director for 'All about Animals' in Flint. “If people have, four cats, and the going rate up here is expensive, they can't afford to do all four cats. You need something that you can do a high volume for them, and that's what we do."

Burns thanks the community for their ongoing support to their cause.
