NEGAUNEE, Mich. (WLUC) – Love was in the air at the Negaunee Public Library, the love of reading that is.
The Friends of the Negaunee Public Library held their annual Valentine’s Day Book Sale Tuesday afternoon. Homemade treats and refreshments were also available at the event.
The book sale is a fundraiser for the library, helping pay for things they might not otherwise be able to buy. A variety of books were available for a discount.
“It’s a a great way to raise a little money for the library and also just get people into the library so they see we're here and what we do and what the friends do as well,” said Jessica Holman, Negaunee Public Library Director.
The Negaunee Public Library also has an even bigger used book sale in July, during the week of Pioneer Days.
