MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - The Lake Superior Community Partnership, LSCP, put a button on their year long celebration of 20 years in the community Wednesday night with a business after hours event.

The partnership has been celebrating all year with a various events. The night was a way for staff at the partnership to say thank you to all it's members, volunteers and any who have helped contribute to their mission of increasing economic development in the area. Although they recognize the milestone year, they still have an eye to the future.

"We stop and celebrate 20 years to really create that milestone that says 'hey, we've done a lot of good things together over the 20 years' but you've got to keep your foot on the gas pedal," said Amy Clickner, CEO of the LSCP. "Everything changes in economic development, we have a new administration that we'll be working with, new policies, new relationships to be built."

Recently the partnership held a successful fundraiser based on the popular game show Family Feud.
