UPDATE: Missing man, Daniel Oberdorfer, found deceased in Wisconsin

UPDATE Monday, December 17, 7:38 p.m.

Kingsford Public Safety Department has released details on a man who was missing in Dickinson County.

Daniel Oberdorfer, 62, was found dead near his truck on private property near Davis Road in the town of Athelstane, Wisconsin, at approximately 2 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 17.

The Marinette County Sheriff's Office is conducting an investigation, but no foul play is suspected.

The Kingsford Public Safety Department will release more details when the investigation is complete. The department would also like to thank the public and assisting police departments for any tips and assistance they provided.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Kingsford Public Safety is asking for help from the public in locating a missing person.

Daniel Oberdorfer, 62, was last seen Saturday, December 8th in the Norway, Michigan area.

Daniel is 6 feet tall, approximately 240 pounds, and has a medical condition requiring daily medication. Daniel is driving a black 2017 Ford F150 extended cab pickup with Michigan handicap registration 0K0663.

The truck has two garbage cans and a walker in the bed of the truck.
