Keweenaw Bay Ojibwa Community College hosts career fair

L'ANSE, Mich. (WLUC) - High school seniors explored potential careers at the Keweenaw Bay Ojibwa Community College in L'Anse Friday.

The college had representatives from a number of careers available in the local community. The fair was open to not only students from a number of high schools, but to local community members as well. They hope that those interested will consider getting a degree or certificate with them first.

“You know, starting at a community college and even if you're just getting your math and English done, is a really good start and it's good to get your foot in the door,” said KBOCC business department chair Megan Haataja.
