Julian Castro suspends Democratic presidential campaign for President

WASHINGTON (Gray DC) -- Democratic Presidential candidate Julian Castro suspended his campaign on Thursday.

In a morning announcement and video on Twitter, Castro said he will "keep fighting for America where everyone counts".

Castro is formerly the Mayor of San Antonio and the former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development.

The first caucus will take place in Iowa on February 3 and the first primary will take place in New Hampshire on February 11.
