Jingle Bell Shop vendor and craft show benefits local charity

MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC)- A new type of craft show was held at the St. Michaels Catholic Church in Marquette Friday and Saturday. It's called Jingle Bell Shop.

This is the second year for the show. Over 30 crafters and vendors from around the area were at this weekend’s event. Selling homemade goods like jams, wreaths, and jewelry. Organizers say Jingle Bell Shop offers something for everyone.

“I think it's important because this way you can have both vendors and crafters together,” said Ashley Dagenais, Vendor Friends Committee Member. “We're supporting a good cause, but also, if you come shop here you're shopping local. You're helping the people support their families.”

A portion of the proceeds from this year's event benefits the Room at the Inn warming center.
