ISHPEMING, Mich. (WLUC) - The city of Ishpeming conducted Public Accuracy Tests Tuesday morning in preparation for the upcoming Presidential Primary Election.

Ishpeming City Clerk Cathy Smith tests voting machines during Public Accuracy Test for upcoming Presidential Primary Election.

Test decks were run through voting machines to ensure no issues with programming or equipment.

Ishpeming City Clerk Cathy Smith says they make these tests so during the Presidential Primary Election on March 10th, they won’t have technical issues to worry about.

"A reminder to everyone located in precinct two in the city of Ishpeming, it is no longer at the senior center,” said Smith. “The precinct two is now located at KD Hall, which is right next to St. John's church."

Smith said the pre-Public Accuracy Tests held last week went smoothly.
