IRON COUNTY, Mich. (WLUC) - An Iron River drug dealer is set for a sentencing following a plea agreement Monday in Iron County Circuit Court.
36-year-old Sheldon Cava pleaded guilty to two counts of delivery of meth and one count of possession of heroin. All other charges were dismissed as part of a plea agreement. He was originally charged with delivery/manufacture of cocaine, heroin or another narcotic less than 50 grams, delivery/manufacture of meth/ecstasy, possession of meth/ecstasy, and possession of cocaine, heroin or another narcotic less than 25 grams.
Detectives from the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team investigated Cava for several months. A search warrant was served in Bates Township back in September. Crystal meth, a drug cutting agent, digital scales, suspected steroids, and prescription pills were found.
Cava will be back in court for sentencing on March 25.
