DICKINSON COUNTY, Mich. (WLUC) - An Iron Mountain woman has been arrested after an investigation by the the K.I.N.D Drug Enforcement Team and Dickinson County Prosecuting attorney Lisa Richards.
29-year-old Kristine Elizabeth Woods was arrested after officers participated in multiple controlled purchases of cocaine and heroin.
K.I.N.D Officers obtained a search warrant and seized a large quantity of heroin and cocaine from Woods’ residence on Monday, July 9th.
Officers recovered 70 grams of cocaine and approximately 50 grams of heroin along with a large quantity of prescription pills.
Woods was charged with Delivery/Manufacture less than 50 grams of cocaine, and Delivery/Manufacture less than 50 grams each of Cocaine and Heroin, all 20 year felonies.
She was also charged with counts of Maintaining a Drug House, Possession with Intent to deliver 50-450 grams of Cocaine, Possession with Intent to deliver less than 50 grams of Heroin, Possession of a Controlled Substance-Hydrocodone.
Woods cases are set for a probable cause conference on July 20th.
Her bond has been set at $60,000 cash or surety.
Kingsford Public Safety, Dickinson County Sheriffs, and the Iron Mountain Police assisted in the investigation.
