IRON RIVER, Mich. (WLUC) - The 127th annual Iron County Fair started Thursday in Iron River. On Thursday afternoon there was 4H animal judging and different events for seniors. Thursday night there will be a carnival, Miss Iron County pageant and live music.
The best part of any fair is the food and the Iron County Fair has plenty of favorites.
"We have elephant ears! The number one thing for the fair goers,” Iron County Fair Board manager, Carrie Nelson, said. “They come here and they ask for elephant ears, where can we find them? Well we have them! We have hot dogs and hamburgers and things such as that. They have cotton candy, popcorn and funnel cakes."
You have all weekend to try all of that food. The fair goes until Sunday.
