MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - The Hiawatha Music co-op in Marquette was full of holiday cheer Sunday afternoon.
The co-op held a free, community sing from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. All were invited to attend, and plenty showed up with their voices, and even their own instruments. In addition to Christmas music, the group played plenty of traditional folk songs as well.
“It's just fun, antibody can do it,” said Hiawatha board member Susan Bertram. “You don't have to be a musician. You can sing, you can tap your foot and dance in a circle. It just draws people together."
Community sings will be held at the music co-op the third Sunday of every month until May.
