MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - The Harlem Globetrotters returned to Marquette Friday night. And it was a sold out show.

Marquette was the final stop on their Fan Powered World Tour. The Globetrotters took on their long-time rivals, the Washington Generals, although the game was anything but conventional. In fact, TV6's own Alex Kline joined the team briefly to learn how to dribble like a Globetrotter.

"This is such a great city and for them to come here and to see all these fans and with all the kids here to see all they do, so many tricks and just putting on such a good show, I had so much fun and the atmosphere is amazing," Kline said.

Towards the end of the game the generals unplugged the scoreboard and both teams agreed the first team to get to 8 would win and in the end the Harlem Globetrotters prevailed 8 to 6. The Globetrotters previously came to Marquette in 2012 and 2010.
