UPDATE: Gwinn woman arrested on felony charges related to a stolen credit card arraigned in court

FORSYTH TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WLUC) - Update- Wednesday September 13, 1:01 P.M:

Cassandra Ann Hurrell, 29, of Gwinn was arraigned in Marquette District Court Tuesday on charges of Breaking and Entering and Financial Transaction Device-Steal/Retain Without Consent.

Hurrell has a Preliminary Exam set for October 10th.
Forsyth Township Police received a complaint on September 11th, that a woman's credit card had been stolen and used in the Marquette area without her permission.

The victim was able to provide the name of a possible suspect who had access to her home.

Police, with that information, went to various local merchants and were able to obtain receipts and corresponding in-store videos showing the transactions in questions. This confirmed the suspect was the one identified by the victim.

Police located the suspect, Cassandra Ann Hurrell, 29, of Gwinn, and arrested her later in the day Monday. She is currently lodged in the Marquette County Jail.

Hurrell faces two counts:
Count 1 - breaking and entering, entry without intent, a five-year felony
Count 2 - financial transaction device, stealing/retaining without consent, a four-year felony

The investigation determined that Hurrell allegedly charged more than $2,500 on the victim's credit card.
