Gwinn man arrested and charged in Delta County for possession of meth

DELTA COUNTY, Mich. (WLUC) - Deputies from the Delta County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Gwinn man for possession of meth.

According to police officials, around 10:50 PM, deputies stopped a vehicle in the Flatrock area for an equipment violation on February 11. Through further investigation and with the assistance from K-9 Jet, 25-year-old David Thompson was arrested for possession of meth.

Thompson was arraigned Tuesday, February 12, on one count of controlled substance, possession of meth.

His bond was set at $50,000. Charges are pending on other occupants of the vehicle.

Deputies were assisted by the Michigan State Police.
