GWINN, Mich. (WLUC) - The Gwinn Area Community Schools Sinking Fund Proposal is on Tuesday’s ballot.
According to the precinct chair, they estimate 900 voters from will come out to decide the school district’s future.
Proposing an increase of 1.75 mills ($1.75 on each $1,000 of taxable value on your home) for ten years, Gwinn Area Community Schools would use the money for school repairs, replacements and upgrades.
Polls opened at 7:00 a.m. and will stay open until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday night.
