All hard cover books were sold for $1, and paperbacks sold for fifty cents each. Marilyn Andrew, President of Friends of Ishpeming Carnegie Library says they're offering even deeper discounts Saturday.
"Tomorrow starting at 10 am, everything is half price and then starting at noon tomorrow it's $3 a bag. So if you want a bargain, show up either in the morning or in the afternoon tomorrow,” Andrew announced.
All proceeds from the event go directly to the Ishpeming Carnegie Library, according to Andrew.
Andrew added that if you have gently used books that you'd like to get rid of, they're always accepting donations.
