MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - What was once Wells Fargo bank in the Upper Peninsula is Monday night, officially Flagstar. Last Friday the branches closed early to allow for the transition.
More than 50,000 customers were affected by the switch. Branding went up quickly and most signage was in place late Friday evening. Monday, the branches opened up as Flagstar with plenty of banking activity. The Flagstar bank on Washington Street in Marquette saw a steady stream of customers Monday afternoon. Some customers have reported minor delays or inconveniences during the transition.
