Firefighters were called to a blaze Monday afternoon that looked eerily familiar to one these same firefighters fought at Pete's Auto Wrecking last week.
Coplan's Iron and Metal was the site of a fire that was contained before it was able to cause damage to any structures.
The pile for drop off scrap just inside Coplan's yard caught fire around 3:30 p.m. Monday. There were reports of an explosion that may have started the fire, but those are as of yet unconfirmed.
Several fire departments, EMS and Public Safety were on hand to fight the blaze which was contained within a couple of hours.
This is a developing story. TV6, FOX UP, and UpperMichigansSource.com will have the latest details as they are made available.
