NEGAUNEE, Mich. (WLUC) - Iron Street in downtown Negaunee closed Friday for another Free Friday Flea Market. The market is held every year during Pioneer Days.
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., shoppers found hidden treasures in a collection of a wide array of antiques, clothing and household appliances.
The market is completely free for attendees to visit. Vendors say they were excited to share their finds and their work they put time and effort into.
"Definitely very excited. Super excited to get out and meet everybody and see what all the other folks have to offer as well,” said Erica Sandford, co-owner of Northland Apparel. “A lot of anticipation, a lot of preparation. It's been a busy week.”
The next Fancy Iron Flea Market will take place Saturday, August 3, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Donations for the Downtown Negaunee Business Event Association are accepted for the continuation of these markets and other events.
