MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - With fall in full effect Travel Marquette is working to make sure tourism is still a draw in Marquette County.

Staff at Travel Marquette say events like the upcoming Fresh Coast Film Fest starting Oct. 17, the Marquette Spectacle on Oct. 12, annual fall color tours, ATV trail riding, hiking and of course, hunting are very popular in Marquette County during the fall season.

"There's draws for all different types of visitors coming here, the Fresh Coast Film Festival, the different races that we have, the Spectacle is going on this year, so it's important to have something going on all the time as far as events are concerned," said Travel Marquette Executive Director, Susan Estler.

Statewide tourism campaigns like Pure Michigan have also been very successful in recent years.
