Escape Marquette offering new escape room

MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - Escape Marquette, in the Masonic Temple on Washington St., is having a "Love is Free" event on Valentine's Day.

More than 100 people signed up for the free time, completely booking their schedule. Along with the Valentine's Day event, they opened a new room two weeks ago for more experienced players. The new challenges are the most difficult in the building, and are rated with a difficulty of five out of five.

"The Agency is specifically recommended for my expert players, players that have had previous experience," Escape Marquette Founder and Gamemaster Anna Hemstock said. "So this game has a 22 percent success rate, making it very difficult. It has a requirement of four players on the minimum, so that way you can solve through some of the physical props and clues in the game."

There are a range of rooms designed for many skill levels, with some rooms that could require the unique perspectives of a child to solve.
