IRON MOUNTAIN, Mich. (WLUC) - A 28-year-old man was arrested Sunday night for drunken driving after his pickup truck was hit in an intersection.
The Iron Mountain Fire Department and the Iron Mountain Police Department say they were dispatched to a two-car rollover at US-2 and East Hughitt Street at 9:07 p.m. Sunday.
Investigators determined a 28-year-old man driving a pickup truck was eastbound on Hughitt Street at US-2 and didn't stop at the stop sign.
After entering the intersection of US-2 and Hughitt, the at-fault pickup truck was broadsided by a second pickup truck that was northbound on US-2. The truck that ran the stop sign rolled over onto its side.
The driver of the at-fault pickup truck was arrested for operating under the influence of alcohol - high BAC - and lodged in the Dickinson County Correctional Center.
Police say there were no reported injuries as a result of this crash.
The Iron Mountain Fire Department and Iron Mountain Police Departments were assisted on scene by the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Department, Michigan State Police, Integrity Care EMS and the Breitung Township Fire Department.
The name of the suspect will not be released until after arraignment in 95-B District Court.
