Double Trouble Entertainment ready to ring in New Year's
Double Trouble Entertainment is preparing for their annual New Year's ball drop Tuesday night. There's actually two parties going on, one outside for the ball drop on Washington Street and one inside the Masonic Center.
The party includes live music, drinks, a photo booth and environmentally friendly confetti cannons. For double trouble, it's also part of what they call party with a purpose. Some of the money raised at the event goes to help the Ahmed Shriners.
"We really like New Year's because of the excitement, there's tons of people, it's family friendly outside for the ball drop and you see people coming from everywhere to come and enjoy Marquette, it's just a great way to end the year for us and begin the next one in serving our community,"
Early tickets cost $15 but there will also be tickets at the door for $20. The party runs from 9 p.m. Tuesday until 2 a.m. January 1.
