Crystal Falls meth dealer arrested

CRYSTAL FALLS, Mich. (WLUC) - UPDATE: Friday, August 10th, 4:01 P.M:

37-year-old Jesse Hamilton was charged with delivery/manufacture of meth, maintaining a drug house, and habitual offender 4th.
A Crystal Falls man is in jail for distributing meth.

UPSET says detectives executed a search warrant Wednesday at a residence on Oswald Street in the village of Crystal Falls.

As a result of the search, detectives seized over 40 grams of crystal meth as well as evidence of drug distribution. The estimated street value of the drugs seized is estimated to be nearly $10,000.

The suspect, a 37-year-old man from Crystal Falls, was arrested and lodged at the Ion County Jail on charges related to the distribution of crystal meth. He is currently being held on a $25,000 cash bond.

The investigation remains ongoing and additional arrests are expected.

Detectives were assisted by Crystal Falls Police Department, Iron County Sheriff’s Department, MSP Iron Mountain Post personnel and K-9 unit, MSP Emergency Support Team and MSP Homeland Security Team.
