CRYSTAL FALLS, Mich. (WLUC) - Crystal Falls celebrated the holiday season with a full schedule of events happening throughout the day.

From 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Saturday, United Lutheran Church held a Craft and Gift Fair. A variety of vendors were at the event, selling items such as handmade purses, jewelry, produce and specialty soaps.

The gift fair provides a place for crafters to show off items they have been working hard on all year.

“It’s absolutely fantastic to have this space to come to that, we can work at home and create gifts, and have a friendly space where we can come together and offer it to the community,” said Doris Cornwell, Manager of Bigfoot Hideaway.

Other events on the schedule included a holiday concert, pictures with Santa Claus, and a Christmas parade through the downtown area. The night concluded with a firework display over the city.
