Courage Incorporated seeks help providing Christmas for severely disabled veterans

ISHPEMING, Mich. (WLUC) - Nathan Denofre, CEO and Co-Founder of Courage Incorporated is known for his work with disabled veterans.

Now, Denofre and Courage Incorporated want to help disabled U.P. veterans have a happy holiday with a project called ‘Heroes for the Holidays’.

Now through December 16, Courage Incorporated is collecting gift cards and cash donations only at Mamma Mia's Restaurant in Ishpeming and at First Bank in Marquette.

Denofre says he hopes to be able to surprise the military family with a traditional Christmas they might not otherwise have due to financial hardship.

"We just went and found one on our own again without anyone knowing. There are some more severely disabled combat veterans raising kids on their own that don't really get help nor ask for it. So, that's why we're doing it. We're going to make their Christmas a very memorable one. So, we're going to try to get them some stuff that otherwise wouldn't be possible,” Denofre announced.
