Copper Country Intermediate School District hosts meet and greet for substitute teachers

HANCOCK, Mich. (WLUC) - Substitute teachers were invited to the Copper Country Intermediate School District Monday for a meet and greet.

The ISD held the event to have substitute teachers meet their Education Solutions Services representatives. ESS is the third party organization the Copper Country ISD uses to hire substitute teachers.

The representatives were available to answer any questions the substitutes had for them.

"Anyone that has just recently been on boarded with us is invited to come out and meet us. We have a couple of our representatives here, ask any questions for the upcoming school year, and get a chance to talk with us and have those questions answered," said Terri Schrauben, a Regional Manager for the ESS.

The school district is in need of substitute teachers, and another event for potential subs is being held at the ISD this Wednesday at 5 p.m.
